Job Description

We have an immediate opening for a Lead Audio Visual Technician to join our California office located in Los Alamitos. The technician will be an integral part of a team dedicated to installation and service. We seek individuals with technical aptitude and a great attitude. Ideal candidates will have relevant experience in the audio-visual industry.

Primary Activities

• All aspects of installation and service of IGI AV solutions
• Installation, color calibration, service, and preventative maintenance on 2K and 4K projectors, video walls, dvLED walls,  and other solutions
• Efficiently troubleshoot and resolve system issues during installations or on service calls
• Provide excellent customer service and timely attention to issues
• Assist with sales opportunities by providing technical demonstrations of IGI systems

Qualifications

• Lead Audio Visual Technician candidates should have a minimum of three (3) years of experience guiding installation/service within the corporate audio-visual industry
• Experience installing and servicing innovative technologies from AV manufacturers listed above is a plus
• Ability to read and follow system design schematics and layouts
• Strong communication skills and professional conduct
• Valid driving license and clean driving record
• CTS certification is a plus
• Must be willing to occasionally travel
• Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Additional Information

IGI focuses primarily on three key segments of the AV space: 1) Advanced Visualization, 2) Advanced Audio Visual Integration, and 3) Corporate AV Integration.

Advanced Visualization projects involve the design, engineering, fabrication and building of large scale, high resolution visualization systems for the Fortune 50 and U.S. Military. These technology solutions include PowerWalls, virtual reality (VR) Rooms and immersive stereo/3D technologies including motion capture labs.

Advanced Audio Visual Integrations projects consist of large dvLED video wall solutions, control rooms and other complex, sophisticated solutions.
