Advanced A/V Systems Installation and Service Technician

We have an immediate opening for an Installation & Service Technician to join our Southern California office located in Culver City. The technician will be an integral part of a team dedicated to sales and service covering the Western United States. We seek individuals with technical aptitude and great attitude. Ideal candidates will include those in the audio/visual, information technology or electronics fields.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform all aspects of installation and service of IGI systems throughout the continental United States
• Perform color calibration, service, and preventative maintenance on 2K and 4K projectors
• Support sales opportunities by providing technical demonstrations of IGI systems

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5-year installation/service experience within the commercial audio/visual or projection industry. We incorporate innovative technologies from market leaders such as Sony, Barco, NVIDIA, Intel, Digital Projection, Extron, Crestron, AMX, Polycom and Cisco in our systems.
• Knowledgeable in the feature film industry with an emphasis on digital post production
• Ability to read and follow system design schematics and layouts
• Efficiently troubleshoot and resolve design and installation issues
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as professional appearance
• Valid driving license and clean driving record
• College degree related to the position will be preferred
• Must be willing to travel
• Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
