We have an immediate opening for a Project Manager to join our growing sales organization in our corporate office located in Commerce, Michigan. We seek individuals with technical aptitude and great attitude. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who can learn our technology, products and applications, and apply a proven methodology based on their expertise in managing large projects. The Project Manager will directly report to the President and will be an integral part of a tightly-knit team of professionals dedicated to delivering IGI advanced visualization systems to Fortune 500 clients.

The successful project management professional:

Will be a creative, seasoned individual with excellent technical skills with experience leading teams in large projects.
Will be comfortable operating within a fast-paced environment, while adhering to planned schedules and tight deadlines.
Will be detail oriented and have excellent written and oral communication skills, and proven success as primary customer contact, and managing vendor relationships.
Will have a demonstrated ability to effectively partner with engineers, designers, technicians as well as managers both internally and with client/customers to drive results from design through testing and operational launch.

Primary responsibilities:

Plan and manage timing of all phases of IGI projects including fabrication, mechanical / electronic design, system programming and installation coordination with the customer.
Multi-task and organize the management of multiple projects.
Communicate across the project team and various entities.
Define project timing and work with customer to set expectations.
Gather requirements and identify scope, and stay within scope of project.
Manage planning, scheduling and budgeting of projects – organizing scheduling based on tasks, resources, materials, budget and labor.
Analyze, identify and successfully resolve issues.
Identify and mitigate risks.
Measure and analyze cost & benefits of the project.
Present on project status and direction at key meetings with internal and client/customer management.

Qualifications:

Minimum of five years project management experience, preferably in a construction or electrical based environment.
PMP or PMI certification preferred with a Broad knowledge of project management methodology
Positive attitude and solid technical background.
Minimum of Bachelor degree
Ethics, confidentiality, accountability, and integrity must be of the highest caliber
Must be willing to sign a confidentiality/non-compete agreement
Valid driving license and clean driving record
Some out of town travel may be required
Must be authorized to work permanently in the United States on a full-time basis
