We have an immediate opening for a dynamic and results driven Account Manager to join our growing sales organization in our corporate office located in Commerce, Michigan. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who can learn our technology, our products and applications, and translate them into the best solutions for our customers. The Account Manager will directly report to the President and will be an integral part of a tightly-knit team of professionals dedicated to selling and servicing of the IGI advanced visualization systems in the automotive market.
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for increasing market share by:
- Generating design/build sales of advanced visualization systems to automotive accounts
- Maintaining positive business relationships with existing automotive accounts
- Identifying target customers and decision-makers
- Actively prospecting and networking to uncover new profitable business
- Acquiring and maintaining knowledge of all product lines and services offered by IGI
- Providing an exceptional level of customer service and top tier account management
- Performing needs analysis for clients providing consultation, and recommending solutions that best fit their requirements and budget
- Following up on proposals, negotiating and closing business opportunities
- Working in a team environment with senior management, engineering, installation, and service groups to ensure long term customer loyalty and satisfaction
- Achieving planned sales targets and performance objectives
- Collaborating with senior management to develop revenue forecasts
- Providing timely and accurate reporting of sales pipeline and forecasts
- Representing IGI by attending and participating in trade shows, networking events, and client functions
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of proven track record selling audio/visual, compute/graphics solutions to commercial clients
- Demonstrable understanding of commercial audio/visual equipment, applications, and functionality
- Strong ability to close business by securing orders under acceptable company terms and margins
- CTS certification is a plus
- College degree in a related technical field or business is preferred
- Upbeat and positive demeanor and attitude
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly grasp technical concepts
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional appearance
- Excellent writing skills necessary to create detailed system proposals
- Attention to detail and willingness to take ownership of work
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills and the ability to multi-task
- Reliable and punctual
- PC literacy including Microsoft Office applications
- Self-starting, proactive, self-managing, and goal-oriented team player who strives for excellence
- Ethics, confidentiality, accountability, and integrity must be of the highest caliber
- Must be willing to sign a confidentiality/non-compete agreement
- Valid driving license and clean driving record
- Some out of town travel may be required
- Must be authorized to work permanently in the United States on a full-time basis
